Folks who live a bit inland in South Florida often need deer resistant plants. They have to contend with these beautiful, shy creatures munching their way through the garden.
There are absolutely no deer proof plants, however. If deer find less vegetation than they need, they may go for deer resistant plants such as the selloum philodendron pictured. So plant at your own risk!
The plants listed below are some that you might choose to try if you have a deer problem. These are from my research only - so no guarantees! And this is not an absolutely complete list...some South Florida nurseries have additional ideas.
